After a year 2023 rich in emotion and victories, it's time to look back at the highlights of the Team Babolat players. With dazzling successes, breathtaking suspense and historic performances shaped by perseverance and a passion for the game, let's take a look back at a memorable year for Babolat.

The most successful Babolat player of the season, Carlos Alcaraz is also the first player to win a title this year, after defeating another Team Babolat player, Cameron Norrie, in Buenos Aires in February. The young Spaniard followed this up with a historic season of six titles, the most emblematic of which came on July 16th on the iconic grass of Wimbledon, his second Grand Slam title at just 20 years of age.

Fifteen years his senior, Adrian Mannarino is enjoying the most successful season of his career at the age of 35. 3 titles in Newport, Astana and Sofia respectively, and a total of 43 victories over the year, enabled him to finish the season ranked 22nd in the world.

Other players to win titles this season were Cameron Norrie at the ATP 500 in Rio, who defeated Carlos Alcaraz to take revenge for the final he lost in Buenos Aires two weeks earlier. As for the young Dane Holger Rune, he won the Munich title and reached the final of the Monte Carlo Master 1000 as well as that of Rome. Arthur Fils won his first ATP 250 title in Lyon and reached his highest ranking of 36th in the world after reaching the final of the Next Gen Finals. Felix Auger-Aliassime retained his title at the ATP 500 Basel last October. Hamad Medjedovic is finally the last titled player of the year after a perfect tournament from start to finish at the Next Gen Finals in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where he won all his matches and the coveted trophy in the final against Arthur Fils.

A successful ATP 2023 year for players who will continue to make us dream in 2024 !

On the women's side, Italy's Lucia Bronzetti won the WTA 250 tournament in Rabat, Morocco in May. Canada's Leylah Fernandez won the Hong Kong tournament for the third time in her career. This was followed shortly afterwards by a historic Billie Jean King Cup triumph for Canada. Clara Burel also ended the year on a high with a title at her home WTA 125 tournament in Angers. Sarah Bejlek, a 17-year-old Czech player, won her first professional title at the WTA 125 in Colina, Chile, in November. Laura Pigossi, a 29-year-old Brazilian now ranked 110th in the world, won the WTA 125 Buenos Aires tournament at the beginning of December, rounding off a fine year for our players on the WTA circuit.

In the junior category, Alina Korneeva completed a fine double by winning both the Australian Open and the French Junior Girls Open. The 16-year-old is now number one in the world junior rankings and is asserting her power on the circuit with her Pure Strike. On the boys' side, Croatian Dino Prizmic won the Junior French Open on June 10 with his Pure Aero. He was followed a few weeks later by Britain's Henry Searle, who won the Wimbledon singles title, fulfilling the dream of every British player at just 17 years of age.

On the Padel front, Juan Lebron was the star of the 2023 season. He won a total of five titles (WPT Finland Open / WPT German Open / WPT Menorca Open / WPT Malmo Open / Premier Padel Milano) with his partner Alejandro Galan, enabling him to regain 2nd place worldwide in the Premier Padel rankings and 6th place in the World Padel Tour rankings. The year ended with a final at the last World Padel Tour tournament of the year in Barcelona.

In the women's category, 22-year-old Spanish player Patricia Martinez won the Padel Sevilla Master A1 at the start of the year. An encouraging first major title for the player who has been training at Rafael Nadal's academy since this year. Finally, young hopeful Jana Montes won the gold medal at the World Padel Championships with Spain. But more than her victory at the world championships, it was her victory at the Spanish junior pairs championships in the U15 category against players a year older than her that was her most important victory this year. Her partner in this victory was Martina Calvo, also a Babolat hopeful.

From men to women to young talents, the results achieved by Team Babolat players in 2023 will remain etched in the memories of racquet sports enthusiasts. Stunning victories, historic performances and unwavering passion characterized a memorable season. All the signs are now green for next season to be just as fabulous.
