New Babolat Collection Unites Fans with Limited Edition “Flag” Rackets

Babolat, global tennis leader, rings in the new year with a limited edition collection celebrating the spirit of sports. The new “flag” range enables players and fans around the world to show support for their favorite countries and teams with patriotic tennis rackets.

Babolat’s exclusive collection features designs inspired by the colors of the flags of seven countries: United States, Japan, France, Argentina, Italy, United Kingdom and Brazil.

“The flag image is a unifying theme in all types of sports, not just tennis,” explains Antoine Ballon, Babolat Tennis Marketing Director. “It’s an emblem of pride that brings energy to courts and fields alike. In a year packed with major international sporting events, our Babolat flag rackets and accessories are a fun way for sports enthusiasts to get behind their favorite teams and feel the excitement.”

Players can show their allegiance to American sports ‘stars’ with a stars and stripes racket, align to the national team of France with Babolat’s first-ever blue Pure Aero, or claim a piece of Japanese-themed memorabilia to mark this summer’s competition. No matter the passion, everyone can find their ‘flag’ within the innovative new Babolat range.

Babolat’s flag range includes models to appeal to different level of players: three Pure models for expert players (Pure Drive, Pure Aero, and Pure Strike) and a model dedicated to recreational players (Boost). Each racket design extends to a coordinating backpack that players can wear anywhere with pride.

These special edition rackets are available on a limited basis starting January 2020 in tennis specialty stores. Benoit Paire, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Yuichi Sugita, Taro Daniel, Yosuke Watanuki, Sam Querrey, and Sofia Kenin have already been spotted playing with their FLAG rackets. Now, it’s your turn to serve your colors!
