Organized by Babolat, this competition offers a unique experience to the youngest talents, boys and girls, in European tennis. Organization, finals, awards... find out more about the Babolat Cup 2023. The Babolat Cup is a European tennis competition that has already proven its worth in Spain for 10 years and in England for nine years. This year, the Babolat Cup welcomes four new participating countries: France, Italy, Germany and the Netherlands.

The course of the Babolat Cup 2023

The competition is divided into two main stages. Firstly, the young talents will take part in the national circuit, where boys and girls from the same country will meet together in Babolat partner clubs, such as the Rafa Nadal Academy in Spain, to compete and earn points. Fourteen tournaments will be held in Great Britain, six in Spain, five in Germany, four in the Netherlands, three in France and three in Italy. Each victory in these tournaments is worth points for the young players. The best boy and girl from each country in the overall ranking, who have accumulated the most points throughout the various stages of the national competition, will qualify for the European grand final. The grand final will be held in France, at the All In Academy in Lyon-Décines, close to Babolat's historic headquarters.

The final at the All In Academy in Lyon-Décines

The final will bring together the best boys and girls from each country. They will compete in Lyon from Friday February 9 to Sunday February 11, divided into pools of three. The top two players in each pool will advance to the semi-finals, and two matches will decide fifth and third place before the girls' and boys' finals. The tournament will take place on a hard surface, with matches played over three sets, the last of which will be a super tie-break.

A week at the Rafa Nadal Academy and a day at Wimbledon among the prizes

In addition to increased visibility, the winners will be rewarded with exceptional experiences. The winners from each country will win a trip to the prestigious Rafa Nadal Academy in Manacor, Spain, and the two winners of the European Grand Final will have the honour of traveling to Wimbledon for a day at the London Grand Slam, Babolat's official partner. The Babolat Cup 2023 promises to be an exciting and challenging competition for young European tennis talents.
