Saturday, June5th, the 2010 Roland Garros Women final took place in Paris. In an unseen final, Italian Francesca Schiavone, seeded #17, has defeated Australian Samantha Stosur, World’s #7, 6/4 7/6 in 1 hour 38 minutes.

Francesca becomes the first Italian to win Roland Garros. It is also the 4th title in her professional career and without any doubt he most memorable. Last April, she won the Spanish Open in Barcelona.

This final was also a Babolat equipment battle between Pure Storm and Aeropro Drive racquets... but both were playin with the brand new Babolat RPM Blast black string.
