Samantha Stosur won the 2nd title of her career at Charleston on Sunday defeating Vera Zvonareva (6-0, 6-3). She easily dominated this final and concluded the match in 52 minutes.
Vera Zvonareva get her ticket to final against Caroline Wozniacki in semifinal who was also well engaged in the tournament but had to retire due to an ankle injury.

With this new title Samantha reaches the world top ten (WTA #10). This victory on clay is very promising in particular for the French Open where she plans to do at least as good as last year (where she reached the semi).

April 18, 2010– Barcelona, Spain
Francesca Schiavone - WTA #17 - was impressing this weekend defeating her compatriot Roberta Vinci, titleholder, (6-1, 6-1) in the final of the women’s tournament in Barcelona. This had a taste of revenge for Francesca who was defeated last year in semi at the same place by Roberta (WTA #54).

This is the third title of the Italian’s career and let’s hope not the last.
