Rafa Nadal for his comeback to competition reached the semi before being eliminated by the winner of the tournament Ivan Ljubicic.

Concerning women, 3 of the 4 semi-finalists were under Babolat’s flag this week end. Samantha Stosur was facing Jelena Jankovic. In the other semi Agnieszka Radwanska and Caroline Wozniacki were confronted for a place in final.

Caroline Wozniacki the only Babolat's player in woman final lost against the serbian player Jelena Jankovic (6-2, 6-4). With this performance she became WTA #2.
