Q : I just
received a repaired stringing machine (model 1000 / 2000 / 2500 / 3000
/ 3500 / 4000 / 4500 / 5000 / star 4) : the traction head is locked on
"start" position and the machine makes a continuous "bip"
A : You probably
forgot to remove the transport screw, located between the turntable and
the traction head. Take it out completely (the screw is 12 cm / 4.7 in.
long) and turn the machine off/on again.
Q : Though removing the transport screw, the traction head still does
not move. Is there a special starting procedure ?
A : The tension sensor may be damaged. Please call your country after sales
service to get a solution.
In any case,
remember to remove the safety transport screw each time you receive a
stringing machine of the models 1000 / 2000 / 2500 / 3000 / 3500 / 4000
/ 4500 / 5000 STAR 4

Q: This question concerns Sensor and
Sensor Expert machines. I have cleaned the clamp, as mentioned by the
message on the screen of the machine, but the message remains. Why? Is
there any additional requirements?
A: For racks and machines built after July 2002, a new software
has been implemented. A screen message recommends you to clean the clamps.
This message will remain during 5 racquets. However, you can cancelled it
by using a special procedure:
1. Press SHIFT for 3 seconds long: the machine makes a bip
2. Press SHIFT again: the message is erased.
NB: every 50 racquets, the message will be back again.
Q : When the racquet is strung, it stays stuck between the arms of the
turntable !
(STAR 4 / 2000 / 2500 / 3000 / 3500 / 4000 /4500 / 5500 / SENSOR / SENSOR EXPERT)
A : No Panic
!
- Release with billiard knob (3-4 cm/1.5 in.) the billiard at the racquet
throat
- Tighten with the opposite billiard knob (1 revolution) the racquet head
billiard
- Open the arms at the throat with arm control knob
- Release the racquet head billiard
- Open the arms close to the racquet throat
- The racquet is now free !
DO NOT USE A PAIR OF PINCERS TO OPERATE THE KNOBS : YOU COULD SERIOUSLY
DAMAGE THEM.
Q: What
is the function of the 2 safety devices attached to the Sensor packaging?
(machines, racks, turntables, foot stands, furniture’s)
A : Before leaving the factory, Babolat placed to different
indicators on boxes or containers to warn you if the wares have received
any schock during the journey
1. the round dot one will tell you if the box was not upside down
while traveling.
2. the other rectangular one checks if the machine did not fall
from more than 40 cm.
If one or both are red, please write on your delivery bill: SHOCK WARNING
POSITIVE. Make a copy of it and contact your national dealer under 48
