Tine Rasmussen– world # 7 single player- won for the first time of her career the European Badminton Championships in Manchester. She defeated in final Juliane Schenk (21-19, 14-21, 21-18), who previously defeated Hongyan in semi.

Let’s hope that this is a good sign maybe for a world title…

Hongyan Pi– world # 9 single player- obtained the bronze medal at the European Badminton Championships in Manchester. She failed in semifinal against the German Juliane Schenk (21-14, 21-13).

It is Hongyan’s fourth European medal! Congratulations!
